Introduction
Boost your sales by using a slide presentation. A sales slide presentation is a visual presentation of your product and the benefits of using it. If you know your product and write the sales presentation to accompany the slides, sales will increase. Here are a few tips to help you write an effective sales slide presentation.
Instructions
Difficulty: Moderate
Steps
1
Step One
Start with a list. List the points about your product that you want to cover; just write bullet points for now. The full descriptions can come later, right now you are just getting organized. List which slides you'll be using and put them in a logical order. If there are special topics you want to cover in the sales presentation, list them as well.
2
Step Two
Write an outline of the slide sales presentation first. Write to emphasize the slides you'll be using. Start with a general product description and include the benefits of your product. Have a slide showing the finished product for the general description and another slide showing the benefits of your product. Use a new slide for each change of topic; practice the sales presentation after writing the outline.
3
Step Three
Edit your outline to finish writing your sales slide presentation. Keep the presentation informative yet conversational. Read the sales presentation aloud to hear what it sounds like. Add information when needed and change the wording if the presentation sounds too formal. Use a tape recorder and play it back, making notes as you listen.
4
Step Four
Write the sales presentation and use a 3 by 5 card to make notes for your presentation. Number the cards to match the slides so you don't get lost if nervous. When writing the notes, make a bullet list of important points you want to make. Writing notes helps keep your sales presentation more natural-instead of reading what is written on the copy.
5
Step Five
Keep the order of your sales presentation logical; as though you were selling one on one. Start with the benefits of your product, elaborate how the product meets the benefits, address frequently asked questions, and finish with a reminder of the value of the product. Don't forget to address why your product is better or different from competitors.
